Ariagna Hernandez

Ariagna Hernandez (she/her/ella) is a first-year student at Brown University, potentially double concentrating in Sociology and Hispanic Studies, while also pursuing her Engaged Scholarship Certificate. As a Presidential Scholar at Brown, she benefits from a comprehensive program that fosters intellectual curiosity, research innovation, academic mentorship, leadership development, community engagement, social experiences, and access to university resources. Ariagna’s academic pursuits align with her passion for addressing educational disparities and systemic inequities in access to quality education, particularly for marginalized and underrepresented communities. Outside of her studies, she enjoys working out, participating in club events, and exploring new cafes in her free time
