Salma Mutwafy

Salma Mutwafy is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at Brown University and Data Manager for the Pandemic Journaling Project. Mutwafy is interested in how macro-level social processes play out at the micro-level; with a particular interest in the family, labor market outcomes, the life course, and meaning-making strategies. She is currently examining unemployment among college graduates in the Global South, with Kenya as her case.
