Abdullah All Shakil

Shakil is a Ph.D. student in Medical Anthropology at the University of Connecticut Department of Anthropology. Prior to joining UConn, he worked as a Research and Insights Lead at the BRAC Social Innovation Lab in Bangladesh. He has a Master’s in Anthropology and Sociology from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), Geneva, Switzerland. For over a decade, he has been active in grassroots environmental movement building, public health research, and project management. His research interest intersects the living environment and the burden of chronic illness for women.
