Nardos Shiferaw

Nardos Shiferaw is a PhD student in Anthropology at the University of Connecticut. In 2020, she graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a major in Anthropology, emphasis in Cultural Anthropology, and a minor in Sociocultural Linguistics. Her research interests are centered on health, access to healthcare, and African immigration to the United States. Nardos is a lead researcher on the PJP-based study, “Stress, COVID-19, and Journaling: The Experiences of Black Women.” A fun fact about her is that she enjoys reading and traveling.
